My office hours: M 1:00-3:50 and W 10:00-11:50 in Max 313, or by appointment or drop-in. I will also try to have informal "office hours" in the Prentiss dining hall at 6pm on Tuesdays.

Note to instructors: Most of the files below were generated in LaTeX; in most cases the source code for file.pdf (and, for exams and such, for filekey.pdf) should be downloadable as file.tex. Also downloadable (in both formats) is my class log (.pdf).

Taught spring semester 2005 at Whitman College.

Final exam: 9-11am on Wednesday, May 18. My reading of the final exam schedule indicates that our final is scheduled for the time noted above. Please let me know immediately if you think I have it wrong. Here is a list of topics that are fair game for the final exam. The final exam and its answer key will be posted after class.
